Here is my first QR! The purpose of this is for the activation of my work. The viewer will scan the code which should then open the Instagram app on their phone and then reveal the AR filter. This is the new approach to revealing the unseen in my work while still being interactive for the viewer, which I am enjoying. Also by using something that we are so familiar with like Instagram, it makes it a bit playful. That the viewer could also then take a photo of the AR and share it via Instagram adds to the element of spread in my work. not only raising awareness for how bacteria is spread in person but then also spreading it via technology. I am excited for this piece to come together.
