Testing Space

For the upcoming crit show, I want to experiment with projection. In a tutorial with my lecturer Amanda, I was recommended to try using an old overhead projector and to use the Petri dishes as lenses or slides. I enjoyed the dramatic effect of the overhead projector as it gives off a warm light as well as emitting heat and also a constant whirring noise of the fan. I’m enjoying the interactive element of this form of projection as well. I could manipulate how the slides looked and overlay different slides if I wanted to which produced some interesting results.
