Work in Progress

For the upcoming crit show, I am growing bacteria from samples collected around the university, I’m looking at the idea of spread and how even though we can’t see these invaders they are constantly around us. I’m interested in making people more aware of what’s around us and how easily bacteria is spread, especially because there is the present threat of antibiotics beginning to fail against these very bacteria. I am either going to display them in a lightbox or I will do a form of projection, inspired by Tambellini’s exhibition.
